MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium
Hiroshima best things to do and what to see
Local interview notes
Located in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Mazda Stadium opened in 2009 and is the home stadium of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Known as the first stadium in Japan to adopt naming rights, it is characterized by its beautiful exterior and the cheers of enthusiastic Carp fans.In the past, this location was known for many years as the Hiroshima Municipal Baseball Stadium, but due to aging, it was rebuilt. The new stadium was designed to incorporate the design of Major League Baseball stadiums, with a sense of openness and convenience for fans.
With its natural grass field, asymmetrical bleacher seating, and various exhibits that chronicle the history of the Carp, Mazda Stadium is a special place for Hiroshima Carp fans. At game time, the cheering songs of the enthusiastic fans echo through the stadium, creating a sense of unity and excitement.
Mazda Stadium is more than just a baseball stadium; it is a symbol of Hiroshima. We hope you will experience this special space when you visit Hiroshima.
