Concept
Our experiences offer a welcoming introduction to Japanese culture, even if you have never picked up a calligraphy brush before.
Learn basic movements with guidance, practise at your own pace and enjoy making your own work. In the calligraphy, sumi-e and hanging scroll workshops, your finished piece becomes a personal souvenir.
For sake lovers and curious beginners aged 20 and over, explore the aromas and flavours of local Hiroshima sake.

Our indoor experiences take place in central Hiroshima, within walking distance of Peace Memorial Park and close to Okonomimura.

Yes. Your finished calligraphy, sumi-e painting or handmade hanging scroll is yours to take home.
Calligraphy: approximately 70 minutes. Sumi-e: approximately 80 minutes. Hanging scroll: approximately 90 minutes. Sake tasting: approximately 60 minutes. Confirm the details of your selected option when booking.
Participants must be at least 20 years old. Do not drive after drinking. Please drink responsibly.
